Description
"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
History is ugly and painful at times. This was one of those times when America went through a great transition. In 1926 Margaret Mitchell suffered an ankle injury. While recovering she had read a great many books from the Atlanta library. To help her deal with the time alone at home, her husband got her a typewriter and suggested “Write your own book to amuse yourself.” Thus we have Gone With the Wind.
